Lightroom Table
A large adjustable table used in a lightroom to view color-accurate proofs and products.
This table was designed and built as a lightroom table for reviewing large-format printed proofs and physical products.
Drawing inspiration from traditional drafting tables, the tabletop combines a magnetic work surface for securing prints with a subtle 10-degree tilt, creating an ergonomic workspace optimized for reviewing color, graphics, and product details.

This 4 ft by 8 ft table was built to display large scale proofs for wayfinding and signage mockups shown in Google stores, and stands as my most complex build at this scale to date.
Wood handles on either side let users lift the tabletop with ease, triggering hydraulic hinges that carry most of the weight and hold the surface at a 10 degree angle. The front features a kerf bent 8 ft panel finished in grey vertical grade laminate for a clean, minimalist look, with matching kerf bends on the back to balance the design. The tabletop itself was the other major challenge, a sheet of stainless steel sandwiched between a sheet of plywood and a large sheet of vertical grade laminate.
Overall I was pretty happy with the result, and now the table lives in the lightroom to support the Google Store retail team and other partnering teams.
