Our team was tasked with mocking up this space to better understand the available room and evaluate the placement of the screens in relation to the central podium.
We began by constructing the wall frames using gatorboard to establish the overall form and scale of the space. The structure was then wrapped in foam, which was scored and shaped to produce clean, flowing curves that accurately represented the final wall geometry.
Building the mock-up allowed the Retail Design team to fully experience the space firsthand and uncover key insights through real-world evaluation. Following the launch of the Gemini Room, a portion of the mock-up—paired with a printed presentation—was carried into multiple executive reviews, serving as a tangible showcase of the team’s design vision and achievements over the past year.
